Every ute is used differently. Our Build Your Own Package option allows you to select from our range of pre-designed trays, canopies, and accessories to create a setup that suits how you work, travel, or tour.

BUILD YOUR PACKAGE

Build your tray and canopy to suit your specific requirements.

Trays are made from a 4mm check plate base, 4mm RHS reinforcing frame, 6mm stringer, and 10mm mounts.

Dual Cab | 1780mm long x 1830mm width

Space Cab | 2080mm long x 1830mm width

Single Cab | 2400mm long x 1830mm width

American Pick-up (SWB) | 2000mm long x 2050mm width

Please note, removal of basic tub, fitting of tray and relocation of OME camera and sensors are included. Removal of after-market accessories from tub may incur an extra cost.

Tray options include:

  • Under Tray Tool Boxes (Pair) - 800mm Scallywag Under Tray Tool Box, made from 3mm aluminium construction with whale tail locks and large rubber seals.

  • Trundle Drawer - 1000mm long x 800mm wide x 120mm deep, with whale tail locks and large rubber seals

  • 65L Undertray Poly Water Tank - gravity-fed water tank plumbed to brass tap and mounted to the front of the mudguard

  • 30L Headboard Poly Water Tank - gravity-fed headboard water tank plumbed to a brass tap mounted to the front of the mudguard

  • Headboard Infill (mesh) - CNC cut panel with a hexagon pattern welded into the headboard to protect the rear glass.

  • Headboard Infill (tubing) - polished 38mm tubing welded into the headboard to protect the rear glass.

  • Ladder rack - 3” polished tube with matching profile to the headboard, and easily removable

  • Spare Tyre Holder - to fit up to 35” tyre

  • Colour Coded side boards and under tray toolbox doors - to match the colour of your ute.  This also includes capping to the top of the tray sides to protect them.

Canopy options include:

  • 800mm, 1000mm, or 1200mm Canopy - features flush floor, completely reinforced frame, 2 slam locks (central locking compatible), large rubber seals, lift-off point, and drop sides cut to suit.

  • 1500mm Canopy - features flush floor, completely reinforced frame, 2 slam locks (central locking compatible), large rubber seals, lift-off point, and full length drop sides for dual cab Utes.

  • 1700mm Canopy - features flush floor, completely reinforced frame, 2 slam locks (central locking compatible), large rubber seals & lift-off point and full length drop sides supplied for dual cab Utes.

  • 800mm Canopy (Dog Box) - features flush floor, completely reinforced frame, CNC cut holes in the sheet metal to allow air flow for your dog, 2 slam locks (central locking compatible), large rubber seals, lift-off point, and drop sides cut to suit

  • Colour Coded Canopy Doors - to match the colour of your ute

  • Roof Rack Platform - to mount items on top of the canopy such as roof top tent or solar panels

  • Spare Tyre Holder - to fit up to 35” tyre

  • 20L Jerrycan Holder - made from 3mm aluminium with a folding design for a low loading height

  • Canopy Ladder - bolted onto the back of the canopy for easy access to the canopy roof

  • Internal Canopy Fit Out - includes internal draw and table combination, including fridge dividing wall.

  • Quarter Dog Box Section included within canopy

  • Half Dog Box Section included within canopy

Please note that our canopies are specifically designed to suit our trays, to give the best look, ergonomics and peace of mind.  Therefore, we don’t offer canopy-only packages.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • No. We offer a range of products that are fixed in size and have been carefully designed and thoroughly tested. This research and development process ensures the highest standard.

  • At this stage, we do not ship trays and canopies. We only offer onsite fitting at our facility in the Whitsundays.

  • No. We do not need the vehicle at all for the build process. You only need to bring it in for the final fitting, which generally takes one day.

  • Our specially designed mounts bolt to the vehicle, and then the new tray bolts onto these mounts. This method eliminates the risk of cracking that occurs with fully welded mounts. Our mount design has been developed, tested and refined to ensure it stands up to the harshest of Australian conditions.

  • Our canopies are specifically designed to suit our trays, to give the best look, ergonomics and peace of mind. Therefore, we don’t offer canopy-only packages.

  • Yes. You can certainly keep your original tub or tray. During the removal process, the tub will be partially disassembled, however. When collecting the tub, please ensure you use a flat bed single cab ute or flatbed trailer. Box trailers are not suitable as they will cause damage during the loading process. Any existing trays or tubs left with us will be recycled, as due to space restrictions, we are unable to store them.

  • No. With the exception of Landcruisers, the spare tyre mounting configuration stays the same on all dual cab utes. For Landcruisers, the spare tyre mount is moved onto the headboard. Under tray tyre mounting options are not available for the 79 series dual or single cabs.

  • Our products are always being refined and over time the design for the trays and canopies may change, and always for the better. For this reason, sometimes the photos in our marketing materials and on this website may vary slightly from what you will receive. If you are unsure about specific features, please contact us.

  • We can relocate most reverse cameras and sensors found on common utes, however, as they are relocated to a non-factory position, they might not operate as designed. Rear radar units found on the BT-50 and DMAX utes may require a dealer to perform a recalibration after fitting. Any concerns, please contact us.

  • Yes. We use both OEM and our own fuel filler systems, depending on the vehicle. You may experience some ‘clicking’ depending on how the pumps are set to flow at each petrol station, but most will not experience any issues.

  • The hydraulic press used during fabrication can leave fold line marks on the sheet metal, and from time to time, small tooling marks may be visible. This is a normal part of the hand made fabrication process, and polishing out these marks is both costly, and time consuming, and results in the loss of the attractive mill finish of the raw sheet metal. A painted finish is available on the main panels for those wanting a smooth finish.

  • We don’t offer full tray painting as an option, but we do offer the painting of sideboards, tool box lids and canopy doors as optional extras. We use a high quality 2-pac paint system for the best finish.

  • Yes. You are welcome to personalise your canopy after you have taken delivery.

  • No. We only offer bolted canopies. If you decide to retrofit a quick release option to the canopy yourself, the warranty on our products is voided.

  • We do not do any auto electrical work, but we can offer services through a local auto electrician. Contact us for more information.
